Privacy Policy
Last updated September 1, 2026Two kinds of people appear in VF Roof: roofing professionals who subscribe, and homeowners invited into a quote. We treat homeowner data as the roofing company's data, held by us on their behalf.
Account and billing details from Companies. From Homeowners: the property address, photos they upload, selections they make, messages they send, and the audit record of a signature. Standard product analytics on how screens are used.
Aerial and street-level imagery is retrieved from mapping providers for the address you enter and cached for the life of the quote. Homeowner-uploaded photos are stored in the Company's tenant, are visible to that Company, and are deleted on request.
Photos and imagery are processed to produce measurements, roof masks, and quote drafts for that job. We do not use a Company's pricing, contracts, or customer records to train models used by other Companies. Aggregate, de-identified statistics (for example, average pitch accuracy) may be used to improve measurement quality.
If a Homeowner requests financing, the application goes to the lender they choose. Soft-pull pre-qualification does not affect a credit score. We never see or store full credit reports, and we take no compensation from lenders.
Executed contracts and their audit trails are retained as business records for the period the Company selects, minimum four years. Photos and messages follow the Company's retention setting. Deleting a tenant deletes its records within 30 days of the export window closing.
Homeowners can request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of anything signed, either from the Company or from us. Texas, California, Colorado and other state privacy rights are honored regardless of where you live.
Encryption in transit and at rest, tenant-level isolation, scoped access for support staff with audit logging, and least-privilege internal access. Report anything suspicious to security@vfroof.com.
