Terms of Service

Last updated September 1, 2026

VF Roof is software a roofing company uses to measure roofs, build quotes, and sign contracts with its own customers. We are not a roofing contractor, we do not perform work, and we are never a party to the contract between a roofer and a homeowner.

1. Who the customer is

The 'Company' is the roofing business that subscribes. Its employees are 'Users'. A 'Homeowner' is a person the Company invites into a quote. Each Company's data — price book, customers, contracts, photos — is isolated to that Company's tenant and never pooled with another Company's.

2. What we provide, and don't

We provide measurements, estimates, and document tooling. Measurements are estimates generated from imagery and photographs; they are not a survey and not a substitute for field verification. The Company is solely responsible for the accuracy of any price it sends, for pulling permits, for code compliance, and for the work performed.

3. AI-generated output

Vincent drafts measurements, quotes, and messages. Every autonomy level is configured by the Company, and the Company remains the author of anything sent from its tenant. We log every autonomous action with inputs and outputs so it can be reviewed or reversed. We do not train shared models on a Company's price book, customer records, or contract terms.

4. Electronic signatures

Signatures collected through VF Roof are intended to satisfy the federal ESIGN Act and state UETA equivalents: the signer consents to electronic records, sees the full document before signing, and receives a copy. We store a tamper-evident audit trail — timestamp, IP, device, document hash, and every revision presented. Whether a given contract is enforceable is a matter of the Company's own contract law compliance.

5. Homeowner rights

Home-solicitation cancellation rights (three business days in Texas and most states) are set by law, not by us, and appear on the contract because the Company's template includes them. A Homeowner may request a copy of anything they signed at any time.

6. Measurement credits

Credits included in a plan reset monthly and do not roll over. Additional credits are sold in packs and expire twelve months from purchase. Manual takeoff never consumes a credit. If imagery for a property is unusable, tell us within 7 days and we refund the credit.

7. Fees, term, and cancellation

Plans bill monthly or annually in advance, per company rather than per seat. Cancel any time; access ends at the close of the paid period. On cancellation you may export every contract, photo, and customer record for 90 days.

8. Acceptable use

No reselling access outside your tenant, no scraping another company's data, no uploading imagery you have no right to use, and no using the visualizer to represent work or materials you do not intend to supply.

9. Liability

Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees paid in the preceding twelve months. We are not liable for a mis-measured roof, a rejected permit, a failed inspection, or a margin lost on a quote — those decisions are the Company's.

10. Third parties

Imagery, financing, payments, supplier pricing, and mapping come from third parties under their own terms. Lender offers are theirs, not ours; VF Roof takes no lender commission and displays any dealer fee to the Company.

This is plain-language policy copy written for a product design, not legal advice. Have counsel licensed in your states review the final terms — particularly the e-signature, home-solicitation cancellation, and contractor-registration language, which vary by state and city.
